SUMMARY:October BC Breast Cancer Fundraiser
DESCRIPTION:HOME HARDWARE BREAST CANCER CAMPAIGN OCTOBER 1-31\, 2019\n\nOctober is Breast Cancer Awareness month and Home Hardware wants to help the BC Cancer Foundation raise critical funds to advance breast cancer research and care in the Interior. For the month of October\, five Home Hardware locations will be challenging their customers to pledge their support with a donation in store or online at: www.bccancerfoundation.com/homehardware. \nHOME HARDWARE WANTS TO DOUBLE THEIR IMPACT \nHome Hardware will be matching donations dollar-for-dollar up to $50\,000! \nBC CANCER – KELOWNA CAN CHANGE CANCER OUTCOMES \nThis year\, more than 3\,700 British Columbians will be diagnosed with breast cancer\, it’s reported to account for around 25% of all new cancer cases in women. But BC Cancer is working to stay one step ahead of the disease. In fact\, mortality rates have decreased around 44% since 1987. With donor support\, clinicians can continue to advance research and treatment options. \nGETTING INVOLVED\nFive locations in the Interior are participating in this exciting matching campaign: \n\nHome Building Centre – 8702 Main Street\, Osoyoos\nHome Hardware Building Centre – 150 Fairview Place\, Penticton\nHome Hardware Building Centre – 1650 Springfield Road\, Kelowna\nHome Building Centre – 4601 27 Street\, Vernon\nSalmon Arm Building Centre – 151 5th Street SW\, Salmon Arm\n\nDONATE IN-STORE OR ONLINE \nSupporters of the campaign can make a donation in-store at participating locations or online at:\nwww.bccancerfoundation.com/homehardware \nTax receipts available upon request for donations $10.00 or more. \nIMPACT\nAll funds raised will support BC Cancer – Kelowna to advance breast cancer research and care in the Interior.

DESCRIPTION:All proceeds from this silent auction will be donated to the Kelowna SPCA on behalf of all of our loving furry friends. \nThis is a reclaimed/recylced bike and spruced up by Hailey Conroy. Hailey painted the bike with Home Hardware’s Beauti-Tone enamel spray paint\, colour Sunshine and accented with hand painted daisies.
